What’s in Valle, Arizona? Valle is an unincorporated community located on the corner of State Route 64 and Highway 180 in the northwestern part of Arizona. Visitors usually stop at Valle on their way to the Grand Canyon. Valle is the half way point coming from Williams or Flagstaff on the way to the Grand Canyon.

Valle Arizona, also referred to as Bedrock City because of Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble being the towns famous greeters to all who visit. Valle consists of about 20 acres of land that has over-sized and brightly painted structures of Fred Flintstones car, a brightly colored dinosaur named Dino, Wilma, Bam-Bam, Pebbles, and the rest of the crew. Bedrock City has an amusement park, gift stores, restaurant, 2 main gas stations, a small post office, a few motels, and a large year-round campground. There is a fee for admission. Vale is also home to the Planes of Fame Air Museum. There is a theatre which plays Flintstones cartoons around the clock, a Dino slide and a toy train ride through a mini volcano. The elevation of Vale, Arizona is 5,993 feet.

It is an interesting experience which you should not miss when on your way to visit the Grand Canyon or when your just in the area. Fred’s Diner serves up an excellent breakfast and has a wonderful dinner menu to boot.
