Purple cares about protecting the integrity of IP text relay. We want to do everything we can to ensure that IP text relay is available for our deaf and hard of hearing users.

Some people, who are not qualified users, try to use IP text relay for scams and fraudulent activity. In order to prevent them from using our service, we are now requiring customers to provide us with their date of birth. We do not store this information and only use it during registration and account updates for identity verification.

We hope our customers understand that we are taking this action in order to preserve IP Relay and i711 for those who are qualified to use our services.

AIM Screen Name:		If you want to use i711 Text Relay on AIM, you'll need to register your AIM screen name.
IMEI or ESN:		If you want to use i711 Text Relay on a wireless device, you'll need to register your device's IMEI or ESN. How do I find my IMEI or ESN? Find your IMEI or ESN Close BlackBerry Users (devices with SIM cards) To find your device IMEI simply type #06#. A pop-up screen will appear with the number. Choose 10-Digit Number Option

To have a 10 Digit Number assigned to you, click the "I need a 10 Digit number" link.

Make sure you have selected a state above.
Select area code.
Select nearest city.
If numbers are available for that city a list will appear. Select a number from the list.
If no numbers appear after selecting a city, Please select another City.

To use a number from another provider, click the "I have one with another provider" link and enter your number in the text field (numbers only such as 5557778888). Then click Validate. What's this?
